Volunteers are one of the hospital's greatest resources and they make a significant contribution towards our goal of providing quality health care to our guests.  Volunteers provide services which would otherwise cost the hospital thousands of dollars.  But more importantly, they add a dimension of compassion and warmth.  Our volunteers are recognized as vital members of the BJRH healthcare team.

We are looking for individuals with a sincere desire to help others and to support the hospital providing outstanding health care services.  Men and women of any age as well as dependable teenagers are encouraged to consider donating their time and talents to benefit the hospital.

Volunteers provide services for guests, families and hospital staff in many areas of the hospital, performing a variety of tasks and functions.  Volunteers have an opportunity to serve in the followings areas:

Information Desk, Make toys, memory pillows, and care baskets, Mail Delivery
Deliver menus to patient rooms, Hospital gift shop, Deliver flowers, Greet hospital visitors, Summer Teen Volunteer Program, Volunteer chaplains
There are as many reasons to volunteer!
Providing invaluable community service
Making new friends
Developing new skills
Expanding your interests
Personal satisfaction of helping others
Working in a friendly, progressive environment
Flexible scheduling
